How can this be?!

This past weekend I was out of town at a Women's Conference and let me tell you, it was such a blessing for my life. I was blessed, inspired and empowered! Saturday morning Pastor Ruth Ureña brought a powerful word under the theme: God will surprise you!
[When you have a chance read the book of Luke 1:28-34]

We see in this story how Mary found favor with God and was chosen amongst all women to become the mother of Jesus.  Now, let's remember Mary was a virgen! How was this going to happen? You can understand her concern, right?  But God was ready to do a miracle in her life. Are you following me?  Mary did not understand how God's word was going to come to pass in her life; humanly speaking, it was imposible but something supernatural was about to happen.

I don't know about you but God is ready to do something supernatural in only those who are willing to believe.  You see, although Mary did not understand God's plans, she decided to obey him.  When we obey Him, we are allowing Him to perform a miracle in our lives. We have a task at hand and it is to simply say YES! God's job is to work everything out for our good.  Let Him do what He does best, which is to create miracles.  He is ready to turn your "impossible" into a "possible" The question is: Are you ready to trust and believe that He will?

We all know the ending to this wonderful story, Jesus was born! Mary conceived and birthed our Lord and Saviour! Can u just imagine for a second, if Mary would have allowed her fears to overcome her?  Can you imagine her saying: No, I can't do this, I don't understand what is going on, I feel like I have no control over this situation, I just cant! Can you just imagine?!?!  God's purpose would have still come to pass just not with Mary but with someone else who would have been willing to accept the calling. 

I encourage you today, do not let your opportunity pass by! Don't allow your blessing to go from your hands to someone else just because you were not brave enough to accept the challenge.  Just like Mary conceived and birthed her miracle; a miracle who brought change to this humanity, God is ready to bring change in your life too.  He wants you to conceive and bring forth to birth your miracle today.  A miracle that will change your life and everyone else' lives.  So, next time God tells you something that is just crazy and mind boggling, remember Mary. You may find yourself asking the very same questions she did, "how can this be?" but remember the outcome. Her actions spoke louder than her words, she decided to obey, to step out in faith and God rewarded her! It was such an honor for Mary to be chosen to be the mother of our Saviour, Jesus Christ.  God wants to reward you with something great too!  Will you accept?
