Ever heard of "Actions speak louder than words?" Although that is true, today I want to talk about something that also speaks volumes and it is silence. Knowing when to take a step back and listen instead of speaking is a characteristics that not everyone possess. Let's face it, its hard! We all want our voices to be heard, we want to speak our minds, especially if we have a strong opinion about something. But remember that Silence is Loud. Learning when to simply stay shut is a fundamental tool that will help us in our day to day journey when communicating with others.

ourage is what it takes to stand up and speak and also courage is also what it takes to sit down and listen. It takes a lot of courage and self control to remain quiet and just listen. There is a time for everything and sometimes it is not the time to speak but to be silent. Trust me, you are making a loud statement when you do that. You are letting the other person know that you are taking their feelings, thoughts, emotions and opinions into consideration. It's not always going to be about us, lets take a step back and go to the basics. Listen. Lets apply this fundamental principle in our lives.
Sometimes the loudest noises will come from our ears not our mouths. That is why we were given one mouth and two ears. It's time to listen to others. Silence is LOUD!
