Breaking through darkness

This morning at about 6:30 am it was still dark outside.  As I was driving to work I began to contemplate the dark skies. As the minutes would go by something was happening right before my eyes, change! I would literally see streaks of pinks and purples develop in the mist of the darkness.  As more time passed, a light blue color would make it's coarse and break up the darkness into clusters of dark clouds. I was witnessing a shift, light was taking over and dominating the skies!  I was amazed to see how overpowering yet subtle light was making it's way into what was darkness just a few minutes prior.  As I was in the car, I began to tell my husband: Babe, this is a great message! God is speaking! And I want to share this word with you today.

I want to tell you that just like light breaks through darkness as the sun rises, God breaks through you dark hour to bless you. The Bible says in Psalm 30:5 that weeping may endure for a night, but... yes, yes, yes...don't you love an interruption like this? Yes, we may weep, we may cry, we may go through situations that we do not understand.  Yes, it is in those long, lonely midnight hours where we feel like it's time to give up but God has a BUT that will change the coarse of your life!  It will give you direction when you're lost, it will give you an answer in the mist of many questions, it will give you hope for something new and better.  The Bible continues to say this "...but joy comes in the morning."  Praise the Lord for that "but" in your life because when God intervenes, things have to change! 

You may be in a dark place right now but just like it is a sure fact that the sun will rise into a new day each and everyday, rest assure that God will show up with his love, favor and grace. He has promised that your problems will not endure forever; in other words, your struggles have an expiration date! It is written in God's book, He knows when it will be time for a change in your life.  I want to say to you my friend, that a shift is coming your way, a change of seasons is about to take place, so start rejoicing in what will be a time of joy! Yes, it's a new season, a season of joy, happiness and prosperity.  You may be in a season of darkness, in the mist of your dark hour but I have great news for you, look out the window!  Go outside, take a walk, go out for a ride because the skies will began to change.  Just look up to heaven because soon enough you will start to see streaks of pinks and purples and the bright lights breaking up the darkness into clusters.  You will see the sunrise right before your eyes!  

So, today I encourage you to keep pressing on because your joy will comes in the morning.  God has seen your tears, He's heard your cry and help is on it's way!  There is a breakthrough that will happen in your life, a breakthrough from darkness to light, from night to morning, from weeping to joy and from struggles to blessings.  Are you ready for your breakthrough?
