God Remembers

I love to meditate in the word of God and as I was doing my morning devotional, I was led to this verse, check it out: I was pushed back and about to fall, but the Lord helped me. –Psalm 118:13

This piece of Scripture is a daily reminder that we are not left alone to fend for ourselves, the Lord will always be there to help us. Yes, there will come times of uncertainty, but He will help us get through it. Difficulties will push us back, many times with the intentions to fall BUT (can you thank God for that “but”?) But the Lord helps us. So this is quite encouraging to know that no matter what may come our way to try and knock us down, there is someone who will come to our rescue. We are not forgotten, God remembers!

I want to leave you with these words; I pray that it blesses your life today!

“What the enemy planned for your destruction, God will turn it into a blessing. Everything that has been taken away from you will be returned with increase. Thank the Lord in the midst of what you are going through today, because tomorrow you will see His blessing. Your problems have an expiration date.

Do you remember the last time you were pushed back so hard that you fell, and you thought that you’d never be able to get up again? Maybe life has pushed you with many injustices, or maybe someone has planned your defeat. You were pushed back with violence so that you wouldn’t be able to recover, stand up, and continue moving forward.

Let me tell you that a positive circumstance is behind every negative one. Perhaps you can’t see it because your situation seems to be obscured, but if you take a closer look, you’ll see a light at the end of the tunnel. God is on your side and He’s fighting on your behalf. One of the most inspiring stories in the Bible is that of Mephibosheth in 2 Samuel 9. This sad and tragic story turns into a great victory full of blessings. This handicapped young man had no support from his family and depended on others. Love and mercy came into his life when King David remembered him.

Someone has remembered you. You might think that it’s too late and there’s no hope for you. But you’re mistaken; it’s not too late! Your time has come because the King has remembered you. Yes, God, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords has remembered the promises that He has made to you and the covenant that He established with you. He has come to rescue you.”
