As this week transpires, be sensitive to the Spirit and let
yourself be led by God to be a blessing to those around you. Ask Him to open
your spiritual eyes to see the need. We are Jesus’ hands and feet here on
earth, we are His eyes and ears; let us impact our surroundings by reflecting
Jesus in us.
This morning I was reading a devotional and I wanted to share this
part.
"He (God) expects us to be channels for Him to flow through, not reservoirs that hold everything we have for ourselves".
"He (God) expects us to be channels for Him to flow through, not reservoirs that hold everything we have for ourselves".
I love this and it reminds us that what we have been given by grace, we should
give it others. God has given each and every one of us so much! We
have future pastors, teachers, singers, worship leaders, business women,
many are used in dreams and prophecy, others are great counselors, and many
have the gift of serving which is huge.
We all have gifts and talents that God (by His grace) has given to us and what He is telling us is that we are to be channels of blessings. Through us, His gifts will flow, through us the anointing He has given us will flow and will touch and transform the lives that need it most.

We are not to be reservoirs where there is no outlet and
everything is kept to ourselves. The only way God will entrust us with
more is by giving (releasing). The more we give to others what by grace God
has given to us, He will give us more. Just as the streams of water are
constantly flowing through the channel, God's outpouring will be constant in
our lives. And as water is released from the channel, (guess
what?) more water comes into the channel.
As we continue to give to others, God will continue to give to us.
As we continue to give to others, God will continue to give to us.
God is a great mathematician; there are never losses or negative
balances. He knows no division or subtraction. His mathematical skills are
always addition and multiplication.
We are channels who give, not reservoirs who withhold. With God, it's always a win-win situation.
Be Blessed, Be Encouraged!
