Never Stop

You must depend on Christ only, drawing life and strength from him. Just as you were taught the truth, continue to grow stronger in your understanding of it. And never stop giving thanks to God.
{Colossians 2:7}

When we are rooted in Christ and in the Word, our hearts are filled with Thanksgiving. When we have understood the truth of the Gospel, we will always be appreciative of everything we have and do not have. There will never be room for self-pity, negativity or lack. Why? Because He supplies all of our needs according to His riches and glory. If we do not have, it's simply because we do not need at the present moment. We do not lack because the Lord is our Shepard and we have all that we need. He is our Provider; therefore, we should never stop giving thanks. Never stop!

Our subconscious mind, which is working constantly in the background, processes thoughts at about 1200 to 1400 words per minute. What are you constantly thinking about? What are you infiltrating your mind with on a daily basis? Take a moment to dwell on a simple; yet powerful thought, you are blessed and God has nothing but the best for you! You do not lack anything; you are a child of the Most High! Forget all of the negativity, forget about the things you do not have and focus on the positives and on what you do have. If you dwell on that for ten minutes, it’s like being told 14,000 times that"You are blessed!" and not only that, but then your brain goes on a journey to find the evidence to affirm that thought.

Stop what you are doing right now and take two minutes to look for, think about and count all your blessings, all the good things that you have in your life right now and give Thanks! That's almost 3,000 words of "good things" running through your brain. Practice this daily. Make it a habit to continuously reflect on the good versus the bad. Positivity will always take you further than clutters of negativity. What kind of thoughts are you filling your mind with? You have a choice today to make a turnaround. Never stop giving thanks because you are overwhelmingly blessed. The more we give thanks, the more we will live a happy and blessed life.

Today, I encourage you to Never Stop .... Giving Thanks!

Be Encouraged, Be Blessed!

Overdose of Overflow

My cup overflows with your blessings. -Psalm 23:5

When God blesses, rest assure that there will be no shortage of blessings. The bible speaks about blessings that overflow.  Psalm 23:5 doesn't say that the cup was empty, or half way full. It doesn't even say that the cup full, it says that it was so full that it was overflowing. There was an outpouring of blessings over that cup.  That’s how God wants to bless each and every one of us!
You may feel like you’re stuck in a dry place right now, but I have good news for you. There is water coming your way!  You may feel like the people of Israel, wandering in the desert for 40 years but you’re coming close to The Promise Land.  You may feel like you just can’t get out of a certain situation but God has other plans and there's a shift about to happen. Overflow is coming your way!

God’s blessings will follow you everywhere you go and He’s simply not going to give you “just enough” so you can get by; No! He’s going to give you more than what you could have imagined.  Are you ready for your blessing?  I hope you have your cup ready because God is about to pour out His blessings on you in such a way that it will make your cup overflow.  There will be an overdose of overflow, which will cover your family and even those around you that need to be blessed; God will use you to be a blessing to others. Get ready!

The moment we realize that The Lord is our Shepard and we shall lack nothing, we understand that the provision comes from above, not from anyone or anything.  You may have the best career but the blessing comes from the Lord. You may have the best gifts and talents but the blessing comes from the Lord.  In those moments of “want” or “need” He is Jehovah Jireh; our Provider; we shall lack nothing because we have recognized that the blessing comes from above.
He will guide us in the right path and we shall fear no evil because God is with us every step of the way, the blessing comes from above.  Surely Goodness and Mercy will follow us every day of our lives because we have allowed the Lord to direct our path, the blessing comes from above. Do you want favor over your life? Let God direct your life. Want every place you set your feet on to be blessed, let God take the lead and He will take you to the Promise Land, to the place where there will be an outpouring, flood-like, tsunami , overdose of overflowing blessings over your life and everything you touch.
Want an overdose? Grab your cup!
